In her own words
In her role at Brahmin, Jamie shows her team what leadership looks like through her enthusiasm, work ethic, and constant support. This spirit of encouragement is something that is important to Jamie as she works to mentor the women on her team.
“With so many women in the workforce and in leadership roles, we get to set new standards. Instead of competing with each other for the few seats at the table, women are encouraging and supporting each other every day. We want to see each other succeed both at work and in our personal lives.”
She continued by expressing how integral women are, and always have been, to the success of the brand. “Brahmin was founded by a woman, has a woman CEO, and many women in other leadership roles. Women are central to the company’s success. Aside from the culture, we design each of our bags so that women can feel confident when they’re carrying a Brahmin.”
