Repairs
Upon registering your handbag, Brahmin will warranty your purchase against workmanship and structure defects for one full year from date of purchase (proof of purchase required). A 2 year warranty is extended if you self register on-line. Brahmin reserves the right to exclude any damage caused by negligence and/or normal wear and tear.
A valid sales receipt must be included to show your product was purchased within the warranty period. Once your product is inspected and a defect is found due to manufacturer’s workmanship, we will replace your product with the same style if available or a style of equal value based on the purchase price stated on receipt. We do not guarantee or warranty any item purchased through a third party unauthorized dealer
At Brahmin, quality is the hallmark of our business. We are recognized for offering merchandise that has been carefully designed and produced to meet our high standards. It is our intention that our warranty be as highly regarded as our products. We will repair, at our cost, any manufacturing defect on all registered handbags within warranty. If the bag is not registered, there will be a charge applied for all repairs. Examples of qualified manufacturing defects include problems with zipper construction, loose stitching, hardware or lining.
As with any leather accessory, wear and tear will occur with normal use. It should be expected that over time leather may fade or spot and that edges and corners may show signs of wear. This is a natural and normal process and is not covered by the Brahmin warranty. Normal wear and tear is not a defect. Worn out zippers and zippers damaged by improper use are not considered defective. Regrettably, we also cannot guarantee or replace products damaged by neglect or mishandling, including exposure to moisture, severe tears in leather or lining and ink marks or stains. We are happy to recommend solutions for improving your bag’s appearance should natural wear and tear diminish its condition.
We do stock some replacement parts like shoulder straps for bags that are equipped with detachable straps. If you think your bag can be repaired or refurbished with a simple replacement part, please contact our customer service department. Please note that many types of stains and marks are untreatable. This includes, but is not limited to, stains caused by: ink, cosmetics, food stains, oils, body / hand moisturizers, hand sanitizing cleansers or perfumes.
