What does the Brahmin warranty cover?
Upon registering your handbag, Brahmin will warranty your purchase against workmanship and structure defects for one full year from date of purchase. A 2 year warranty is extended if you self register on-line.
A valid sales receipt must be included to show your product was purchased within the warranty period. Once your product is inspected and a defect is found due to manufacturer’s workmanship, we will repair or replace your product with the same style if available or a style of equal value based on the purchase price stated on receipt.
Brahmin reserves the right to exclude any damage caused by negligence and/or normal wear and tear. We do not guarantee or warranty any item purchased through a third party unauthorized dealer.
How do I send a bag in for repair service?
Brahmin requires that the consumer pay for the shipping cost of the item to the factory. We will cover the expense of return shipping. Please ship your item by insured, traceable mail. Include a copy of the completed form below and send a copy of the sales receipt. The repair team will notify you if there is a charge. Unfortunately we cannot accept checks. Please send to:
What are the time estimates to process a repair?
Please allow a processing time of 2 - 4 weeks for any repair service.
Does Brahmin offer a repair service for consumers residing outside the US?
At this time, we are unable to offer repair service for our consumers residing outside the US.
Does Brahmin offer a refurbishing service?
We do accept most of our handbags for refurbishing services, however, we do require the inside lining to be reasonably clean in order to work on any used handbags. Also, depending on the condition of the used handbags, it may be beyond the refurbishment process, and this will be returned to you as is. Please follow repair instructions to send your bag in for refurbishment.
Please note: There will be a nominal fee of $40 provided that the item is in fact repairable. Once our team assesses your item, you will be contacted with our recommendations.
Can I send in a bag for repair that is past warranty?
Items that are past warranty can be sent in for repair service. The repair team will assess the item and contact you with recommendations and if there are any applicable fees.

Looking for a replacement strap? Check out the options below to find a strap that fits your needs! These straps can be made in any color as long as desired leather is available. They can be made with or without key clips. Custom order can take 2 – 3 weeks to complete and are final sale.

Strap A - 3 piece strap style with a shoulder pad, 11" strap drop, ideal for larger satchel bags
Strap B - 1 piece strap style with tapered ends, 14.5" strap drop, ideal for satchel bags
Strap C - 1 piece padded strap style, 17.5" strap drop, ideal for shoulder bags
Strap D - 3 piece padded strap style, 24" strap drop, ideal for crossbody styles
Basic Strap* - 1 piece strap style
*Custom length Basic Straps can be made (up to 48") as long as leather is available, in 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" widths. If inquiring about a custom strap, please measure your desired length and include measurement in your request.
Handbag Add Ons
The following add ons are additional features that can be added to your Brahmin handbag as long as the desired leather is available.
A strap keeper is a removable, small leather loop that is placed around a doubled strap to keep it together.
An extender is a removable, adjustable piece that can be added to any adjustable handbag strap to extend the length.
A shoulder pad is a padded piece that can be added to any basic strap for additional comfort.
A rose pair is a handbag accessory that is perfect to pair with any bag.

Adjusting Your Shoulder Strap
At Brahmin, we want your handbag to feel comfortable and fit your style. Most of our straps are adjustable to create a desired strap drop length. Follow these simple instructions to adjust your strap as needed. Or, click here to watch a video detailing the steps needed to take to adjust your strap!
Start by sliding the leather loop over the collar button to the opposite side of the strap. Force the button out of the strap hole - there is a small slit above the hole that may need to be pried open a bit to help remove the button.
Bring the end of the strap up to the hole you would like to adjust it to. Our basic strap will allow you to double over the entire strap for a much shorter, shoulder bag look.
Push the button through the hole and slide the leather loop back over the collar button, to where the strap now attaches to the handbag. Adjust the opposite side of the strap if needed.
